Course Level: National Skills Certificate in Plumbing,

The course curriculum is highly practical and covers all fundamental aspects of plumbing work:

1.  Drawings and Interpretation: Reading and interpreting plumbing blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.

2. Pipe Preparation and Fabrication:

   • Cutting, measuring, and preparing steel, GI, PVC, uPVC, PPR, and HDPE pipes.

   • Performing pipe threading operations (Pach kata).

   • Making various pipe joints and connections.

3. Water Supply Systems:

   • Installation of cold and hot water supply lines using GI and PPR/HDPE pipes.

   • Installation of water supply lines using PVC/uPVC pipes.

   • Performing pressure/leak testing on piping systems.

4. Waste Water and Drainage Systems (DWV):

   • Installation of sewer, waste, and vent pipe lines.

   • Working on below-ground drainage and sewerage systems.

5. Fixture Installation:

   • Installing various plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, water closets, faucets, and showers.

6. Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance and servicing of existing plumbing works.

Employment Opportunities
